World-class photography has actually been a hallmark of Forbes for more than 100 years. Whether it’s a definitive portrait of a billionaire entrepreneur on the cover of our print publication or a Rube Goldberg-like factory floor, these images take the reader beyond the text and inform the story in a more human method.
A few of our finest photography this year has been for our marquee plans. Tim Tadder’s kinetic, kaleidoscopic snaps brought our annual 30 Under 30 honorees to life in a manner that words might never do. The Internet’s Top Creators were rendered both moody and positive through the lens of Guerin Blask. Rebecca Miller and Gabriela Hasbun created floral work of arts for our 50 Over 50 list, which honors women who have achieved significant developments in the second half of life.
Under the overall direction of Forbes’ Creative Director Alicia Hallett-Chan, each photo was carefully shepherded through the process from project to last retouching by our Image Director, Robyn Selman and we are grateful for her skills every day.
