Paul McCartney has actually revealed a brand-new photography book consisting of 275 never-before-seen images taken by the previous Beatle himself.

In his foreword and intros, Macca recalls the “what else can you call it– pandemonium” of that time of his profession and communicates his impressions of Britain and America in 1964.
The idea for 1964: Eyes Of The Storm happened back in 2020 when “an extraordinary chest of almost a thousand photos taken by Paul McCartney on a 35mm electronic camera was re-discovered in his archive”, according to a news release.
In a statement, the musical icon said: “Anyone who uncovers an individual relic or family treasure is quickly flooded with memories and emotions, which then trigger associations buried in the haze of time.

“This was exactly my experience in seeing these photos, all taken over an extreme three-month period of travel, culminating in February 1964. It was a fantastic feeling to be plunged right back.”
McCartney continued: “Here was my own record of our very first substantial trip, a photographic journal of The Beatles in 6 cities, beginning in Liverpool and London, followed by Paris (where John and I had been normal hitchhikers three years before), and after that what we regarded as the huge time, our first go to as a group to America.”
The book likewise consists of an intro by Harvard historian and New Yorker author Jill Lepore, a preface by Nicholas Cullinan, Director of the National Picture Gallery, London, and an essay by Senior Manager Rosie Broadley.
