What started as a pastime for 16-year-old Trevor Gieseke rapidly expanded to a possible profession with the click of a shutter and a spot on a sought after yearly calendar.
This image of the fountain in central park was what stood out of the City of Owatonna and permitted Trevor Gieseke to broaden his portfolio and start taking marketing photos for the city.( Photo courtesy of Trevor Gieseke )His image quickly caught the eye of city authorities in Owatonna and beyond, and now he finds himself dealing with the Owatonna Organization Incubator and the Minnesota Small Business Advancement Center.His mama, Nikki, said she is continuously proud and amazed by her boy’s drive to prosper with his enthusiasm. “He’s going far for himself, “she stated.” He’s taking images for the city, the Shopping mall of America, and more and more people are reaching out to him. He’s truly driven to make this a business and it’s really cool to see.”
