Tomorrow is Kids’ Day in Braintree
BRAINTREE — The yearly Braintree Children’ Day event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, at French’s Common, next to town hall at 1 John F. Kennedy Memorial Drive. The complimentary event will consist of games, music, bouncy homes and water slides. Free drinks will be offered, consisting of hot dogs, snacks, water and ice cream. Mass Audubon hosting annual photo competitors
MARSHFIELD– Mass Audubon is welcoming entries to its yearly statewide photography contest, “Picture This: Your Outdoors.” The contest is open to any ages. Images can be sent in one of these classifications: individuals in nature, birds, mammals, other animals, landscapes and plants and fungis. Photographs must be taken in Massachusetts or at Mass Audubon’s Wildwood Camp in Rindge, New Hampshire. The due date is Sept. 30. The grand reward winner will be awarded a $250 present card; 11 other winners will get $100 present cards; and a minimum of six honorable discusses will win $50 gift cards.
