Applications are open for the Allard Photography Competitors 2023. The bi-annual Allard Photography Competitors, which acknowledges photographic quality showing the perfects of the Allard Reward, is adjudicated by the Allard Reward Committee and Maxe Fisher, Retired Teacher, Faculty of Style + Dynamic Media, Emily Carr University of Art + Design.
Professional photographers are motivated to send entries year-round. Entries must show themes of courage and leadership in combating corruption, especially through promoting transparency, responsibility, the rule of law, and of human rights and/or anti-corruption generally. They likewise especially welcome entries that portray corruption and human rights violations in the developed world.
Reward
- Each winning picture will get CAD $1,000 and be included on the Allard Prize site, with a brief description and the photographer’s name, for six months.
- Winning entries will be archived as a past winner on the website afterward.
Eligibility
- Open to people who have reached the age of majority in their country of home at the time of entry.Members of the Allard
- Reward Photography Competition Jury, the Allard Reward Committee and the Allard Reward Board Of Advisers are not qualified to take part throughout their terms as Jury, Committee or Board of advisers members and for one year following the end of their terms.
