The 2022 Starved Rock Photography Show winners have actually been announced and awarded at Starved Rock State Park.The show remains in its 4h year at the Starved Rock Visitor Center.52 pictures were gone into in November and shown at the Starved Rock Visitor Center December of 2022 through January 8th. Professional photographers from all over the state got in amazing pictures under 5 different categories such as 1. Reptiles, Amphibians, and Fish 2. Birds, Insects, and Mammals, 3. Illinois State Parks, 4. Landscapes, Bodies of Water, and Shorelines, and 5. Plants, Trees, and Fungi.Judges from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, the Starved Rock Lodge, and the Starved Rock Structure invest half of a Saturday judging the entries.
